A follow up to my last post.
I did attend the Harvey Dent “campaign rally.” It turned out to be a lot of fun. It was very much like an actual campaign rally. Signs and other paraphernalia were distributed to the 20-25 people who showed up. We paraded up and down the Boston common, yelling catch phrases like “Who do we believe in?” “Harvey Dent!” and “Take Back Gotham!” Overall, it turned out to be a lot of fun, and far more exciting than any “real” campaign rally. The best part was probably seeing the reactions of people who had no idea what was going on. Nowhere did any of our rally gear mention the Dark Knight movie, or even Batman. The only hints were the websites on the signs, and also letting people know the election is being held July 19th, the day the Dark Knight opens in theaters.
